A light, nostalgic read, Reese Witherspoon's autobiography is a breath of fresh air. She recounts stories from her Southern childhood while teaching simplistic, friendly lessons. Southern hospitality was a big theme in this book: Witherspoon tackles manners, dinner parties, holidays, and family values. This book reads like a slice of lemonade pie- sweet, simple, filling, and enjoyable from start to finish. I only wish I had a glass of Reese's grandmother's sweet tea to wash it down . . . oh, wait. She included the recipe.
